Mission & Philosophy
The philosophy at Barrington Storm SC is to promote soccer to the youth of Barrington, New Hampshire and its surrounding towns.

Barrington Storm SC strives to enhance the overall interest and provide opportunities in youth soccer via competitive teams, coaching clinics, camps, and special programs. The Club exists as a vehicle to provide age-specific training to assist in the development of all soccer players. This is achieved by placing our athletes in a supportive environment for players, coaches, officials, and families.

Our philosophy is to encourage the development of their skill not only on the field, but their character, self-confidence, and abilities beyond. Our focus is to enable each player to fulfill their potential as an athlete and become a leader both on and off the field of soccer.
The Barrington Storm Soccer Club is an independent travel soccer club that aims to promote soccer and provides an excellent program that offers both developmental and competitive training to young athletes, starting at the age of 6 up to 14.

The Barrington Storm Soccer Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, a member of “US Club Soccer”, and a member of the Northern New England Soccer League. We are proud to offer year around programs to help develop young players.

The Barrington Storm Soccer Club is an all-volunteer organization. Since its founding, our coaches have been parent-volunteers to keep this program as affordable as possible for families in our community. Coaches receive training and certification to ensure the safety of all our players is their top priority.

Player registration and evaluations are held in late-June each year for U9 to U12 boys’ and girls’ teams. BSSC also provides an in-house Early Development Program (EDP) for 6- and 7-year-olds (with limited scrimmages against a few local towns).

Our mission is to provide a travel soccer program to the Barrington community and surrounding towns that offers both developmental and competitive training to young athletes.

The Early Development Program The EDP Program follows a progression of skills and topics to help increase a player's ability through fun, competitive, and learning based environments with weekly practices and local scrimmages. We follow the US Soccer structure where parents are equally involved with the practices and games.
We encourage you to consider this option for children in this age group as it is suggested as developmentally appropriate.
