Barrington Storm Soccer Club is pleased to announce Registration for the Fall 2026 Early Development Program (EDP) for players in birth years 2020 & 2021.
This is a basic skill set developmental program and follows a progression of skills and topics to help increase a player's ability through fun, competitive, and learning based environments with weekly practices and local scrimmages. We follow the US Soccer structure where parents are equally involved with the practices and games.
We encourage you to consider this option for children in this age group as it is suggested as developmentally appropriate.
PLEASE NOTE:
Our ability to field teams is based on registrations. Team formation cannot be guaranteed until registration numbers are finalized.
FEES:
Cost for the Early Development Program is $85. A $20 deposit is due at registration with the balance due prior to start of the season. Program starting Early September-Early November
This fee includes a jersey & ball for each player.

Effective with the 2026 Fall season, teams will be formed based on school class year (Aug 1-Jul 31) rather than by player's birth year (Jan 1-Dec 31). Please read the following information carefully before registering:

Players born between 8/1 and 12/31 will have the option to register for either:

Their legacy age group (unaligned – old age format) OR
-
Their aligned age group (their school class year – new age format)
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to league policies, players will NOT be allowed to play down to a lower age group.
Our ability to field teams is based on registrations. Team formation cannot be guarenteed until registration numbers are finalized. Additionally, our desire is to offer gender specific teams however if the registration numbers don’t support that, we may have coed teams at some age levels.
